The seminar took delegates through the GDPR requirements and applied them directly to Business improvement Districts, clarifying roles, relationships and responsibilities for all those working in BIDs and anyone you work with, liaise with or provide services to. It covered the obligations of Directors of the BID Board, the delivery team, Rangers and Ambassadors and the relationship between BIDs and their contractors BIDs.
It also discussed the BID Regulations and assessing how they work with GDPR and considered the requirements for Operating Agreements and the relationship between BIDs and the Billing Authority.
By the end of the session delegates were able to take away with them the basis for their own personalised audit to help them prepare their BIDs.
