pfbb UK are ideally positioned to understand the requirements of a good BID Project Manager. Not only do we have a clear understanding of your needs as a BID and the objectives you wish to achieve, we also employ and directly manage our own Project Managers.
We will work with you to provide you with outline job description, person specification and an advert for you to adapt to place in your local media, receive applications on your behalf, assist with shortlisting, contact the candidates to confirm interview slots (if required) and be part of your interview panel, proving you with sample questions and interview tasks.
Once a candidate is selected, we can provide you a draft offer letter, and contract of employment and new starter form and staff handbook for you to adapt and adopt.
Induction
pfbb UK is on hand to help you to shape an induction programme which could include:
- On site meetings with your new BID Project Manager to provide a background to BID, an overview of how your BID was developed and a tour of the area looking specifically at the needs and wants of your businesses that culminated in the BID Business plan
- An overview of the systems and structures which are essential to the structure of a BID Project Manager’s role, providing you with examples of case studies from other BIDs for good project delivery and a discussion with BID Ranger/Hosts/ Ambassadorsin another BID area to help your understanding of their role.
If you are also taking advantage of our finance services, an additional day should be allowed for this at our head office.
Moving forward we can shape a package of strategic and operational support to then suit your needs and ensure that your BID Manager has access to help guidance and best practices whenever they need it.
